Tour Plan
The first stop on the tour is the Jade Buddha Temple, the city's most famous temple. It was built in 1882 to house two statues from Burma. You'll see a seated jade Buddha peacefully in a temple in a bustling city. Enter the temple and soak up the atmosphere with incense and candles. A pure experience of Chinese Buddhism.
Next, we will head to Xintiandi, where we will stroll through the charming former French Concession and have lunch nearby.
We'll then head to Yu Garden, a beautiful ancient Chinese park built between 1559 and 1577 by an official for his father. Afterward, we'll visit the surrounding markets and streets, which are filled with culturally interesting buildings and are Shanghai's oldest traditional Chinese cultural attractions. You'll try typical street foods. We can also visit Chenghuang Temple to learn about Taoist culture.
Afterwards, we'll head to The Bund, one of Shanghai's most unique and iconic areas, home to the oldest colonial buildings. The Bund also offers the best views of Pudong and its futuristic skyscrapers. We'll climb to the Bund's highest terrace for a drink and enjoy the luminous night.
At the end of the day, your guide will return you to your hotel or your preferred destination at 6:00 PM.
